Embedded mobile development is a key industry. Today's smart phones have more processing power, memory, and network bandwidth than servers & desktops in the not too distant past. They also have applications that could only be dreamed of in the past.
This event will provide a synopsis of a few smart phone platforms and developing on them using free and open source software.
Each speaker will be giving two presentations about each platform. In the first presentation each speaker will be an introduction to the platform. In the next presentation the speakers will show how to create a program a little more sophisticated than "hello world" on their respective platforms.
Please see the bottom of this page for abstracts and a link to the biography of each speaker.
