Brief Job Description
The Gaming Application Integration technical resource team facilitates the transition to a services orientated "open state" within the company's corporate gaming systems infrastructure and enables new business agility. Using your deep technical and practical expertise as a Java developer you will be a key contributor to the company's Gaming and Corporate System integration deployments as critical strategic projects are executed. The enthusiasm and maturity to move promising technology to commercial reality, and the ability to meet deadlines are tenets of this position.
Under the supervision of the Team Leader, Gaming Application Integration, together with our business analysts and vendor partners, you will create services or generic components to optimize existing, and support new, business processes in two key strategic areas: Gaming Systems to Gaming Device Integration and Gaming System to Back Office Integration.
You will also define the parameters of application interaction "ESB" between different components and you will guarantee maximum reusability and continuity.
You will work with IT operations to support the business process applications created in production including back-ups, high availability, disaster recovery and service performance in a widely distributed environment. You will measure the performance of the SOA platform and limit all risks as well as the consequences of a breakdown or loss of data integrity by acting preemptively.
You are responsible for coordinating with team members to achieve desired results and you will actively participate in knowledge transfer with peers and management. You will provide on-call production support when necessary, or in a planned rotation schedule.
We offer a comprehensive range of benefits and we work in a smoke-free office. As a condition of employment you will be required to obtain a security clearance prior to employment.
