I met Andrew at a local Linux User Group (OCLUG) about a year ago and was impressed...

Over the next while, I heard him speak again at OCLUG and we shared a few war stories at a beer SIG.  I expressed an interest in attending Summercamp 2009 (great camp, btw) and he bent over backwards to accommodate students at  Summercamp 2009.  He is passionate about FOSSLC and Ingres and enjoys working.  Yes, many people do not enjoy working, but Andrew does!I recently invited him to speak to my class (Computer Programmer,Algonquin College) and he said yes without hesitation and showed up for 8am the next week.  I have never had so many students thank me regarding a guest lecturer, so I’m not the only one who enjoys listening to him!If you ever have an opportunity to hear Andrew speak or a chance to work with his baby, the Free and Open Source Software Learning Centre, I recommend that you do not pass it up.  You will not regret it!
