This presentation will describe the steps to get started with open embedded development on the Openmoko platform. It will cover:
- the preparation of the development environment
- the creation of a simple first project for the platform
- the execution of an application inside the emulator
- the creation of a distribution package
- the production of a complete custom distribution
- the addition of new hardware components
