Abstract:
This presentation is about the Openmokast project and the Openmoko platform. To begin with, the problem of broadcasting to handheld devices will be presented. Then the details about Openmoko and the reason why it was selected as a main development platform will be discussed. Finally, the process of implementing a broadcast enabled device from the Openmoko FreeRunner will be explained.
