SC2010 Registration
The following people provide leadership and strategic direction to the organisation. This team is the inaugural board and will serve a term until May 2009. In May 2009, we will hold elections for the board that will serve a longer term and vote on a number of new by-laws.
The formation of the by-laws and governance will involve many meetings and thus on the advice of our advisors, we chose an initial board that was able to meet easily (same timezone, language, and city). We expect future boards to better represent the countries involved in our community. Thank you for your understanding.

Andrew Ross is Founder and President of the FOSSLC - an incorporated non-profit organization sharing great open source presentations, demos, jobs, and more. Andrew is an award winning architect and software leader. He has developed products and solutions using open source for many years. His current job is to lead a team of software engineers adding features to manage map data in databases. Andrew is also a charter member of OSGeo and project lead for Freeseer. |

Dave McIlhagga is the president and founder of DM Solutions Group Inc., a leader in web mapping solutions delivery since 1998. Dave played a critical role in the launch of OSGeo. Dave has great experience in selling the value of open source geospatial technologies in the hard edged business world. He also has community building skills, and a willingness to do the right thing even if it not the most expedient for his own business needs. Dave sits on the board of FOSSLC acting as a liason between it and OSGeo. |
