EDITORIAL COMMENT: this was a very interesting talk and unfortunately our recording doesn't do it full justice. If we get the chance, we'll see if we can convince Dave to give it again when we can record it with an audio mixer so that we capture both his speech and the audio. Also we'd use our fancier vga capture gear that captures at a higher frame rate. Even so, it's still a great talk!
One of the remaining frontiers for open web standards is advanced audio. Firefox 4 will include a new Web Audio API, and a W3C Audio Incubator Group has been formed to seed the web standards process. This presentation will explain and demonstrate what the web audio API can do.
