The Open Source Geospatial Foundation continues to host an annual international conference, but OSGeo in fact strongly relies on local chapters around the world to promote Open Source geospatial software. This discussion will look at the activities of OSGeo’s local chapters around the world; some hold a « cinq à sept » once a month, while others hold formal meetings and events. Jeff will talk about how local chapters are important for the overall strength and growth of the foundation, no matter what their size or location is.
