When I purchased my Android phone roughly a year ago, one thing that annoyed me was the fact it did not have a 3.5mm jack for "normal" earphones/earbuds. I had a really good pair of in-ear earphones enabling outstanding sound quality I couldn't use. The pair that came with the phone were mediocre so this was a big let down. There were reports that adapters would be coming soon.

After trying a few since then I have happily settled on this one.

The other candidates fell apart, had terrible sound quality, and so forth. Not only does this one work perfect and seem to be a lot more robust - it has a built in microphone and call answer/pause button. Thus, I assess it as worth the extra money and highly recommend it to HTC Magic owners.

I have no relationship with them and this was my first purchase there. Nevertheless, I very pleased with the experience dealing with Expansys. This is especially so given the nightmare dealing with some of the other vendors - one took over a month for the adapter to arrive! The adapter arrived within 24 hours from Expansys. Now... off to listen to some tunes.
