Open Source business will creep through our economy just like good code creeps through the stack, but where do you begin your venture? We'll cover some of the very basics of starting a business, examine existing, non-IT industries that can be modeled, and discuss how standards will play an important role in business development.
This talk is tailored for individuals who are considering making the leap from hobby to small business or employee to employer. Pace will be determined by the participants and there will be time for group discussion as well as Q&A.
