Images are viable products being sold on the web through sites like Corbis Images. The next step in advancing the technology would be 3D imaging. Currently, there is no open method or library that helps to render images that have been scanned with 3D imaging equipment. In conjunction with Arius3D, we have developed Pointstream in order to deal with large amounts of point cloud data obtained from scanned 3D imaging.
